Power connectors join two or more conductors for the purpose of providing a continuous electrical path. GE Vernova offers tap, terminal, splice and non current carrying connectors.

The GE Vernova portfolio offers an extensive range of HV power connectors for substations. Several other types of connectors not mentioned are available or can be specifically designed.

The test results and field experience demonstrate that the GE Vernova design criteria provide the best performance for connectors applications up to and over 800 kV, both for AC and DC applications.

GE Vernova’s connectors have been supplied to many customers worldwide, and thanks to our consolidated experience, after more than 40 years, no corrosion or overheating issues have been reported.
