GCA Energy Tank Cleaning Capability
Equipment
Vacuum Pumps: Two units (VTS and QC 250) handle heavy slurries (SG >1.6) from 25-400 meters. Water Jetting: Ultra-high-pressure system with swivel head fluidises waste; handheld units for precision cleaning. Twin Lobe Pump: ATEX Zone I, pumps 33 m³/hr of solids-laden fluids. Support equipment includes skips, hoses, PPE, breathing apparatus, and Zone II lighting.
Flexible Man Entry
Achieves 98% waste removal using vacuum and jetting systems; man entry is optional for final cleaning after gas-free certification.
Safety
Complies with GCA safety policies and client regulations, with equipment tested and certified pre-mobilisation. Ensures gas-free conditions through testing for benzene, H2S, and NORM; emergency response team required if man entry occurs.
Efficiency
Staged approach: preparation, Stage 1 (98% waste removal), and Stage 2 (final cleaning). Manages skips with crane coordination for minimal downtime.
Hazard Management
Addresses benzene and NORM risks with pre-operation testing and proper containment. Ensures environmental compliance through biocide neutralization and regulated waste disposal.
